When Bec, Nick and their beautiful boys agreed to venture out with me in a storm, I just knew it was going to be the best morning ever. And it was. Barefoot and drenched to the skin, we set out to explore, throwing pinecones for Frank (the GORGEOUS black lab), getting muddy and dancing in the waves. And I was beyond the stars and the moon thankful to document it all. In fact, I simply cannot describe how lucky I am to have captured this kind of love – the kind that warms your heart to the absolute core.

One for the books, really.

Bec and Nick absolutely stole my heart with their kindness, and I’m so honoured to call them both friends.

In May, I flew to Auckland to spend a day with the insanely talented Danelle Bohane, for a one-one-one photography workshop. And guys. It. Was. Amazing.

The day started with a couple session in the city (but not before coffee, always the coffee) with David and Katie. And seriously. These two.

They pulled up to meet us in their vintage car, and we spent the morning chatting and wandering the quiet streets, and of course – capturing some rad photos. David and Katie are well into married life, and their love was effortless, and unstoppable.

Watching Danelle work like nothing else, she was inspiring beyond words, and I can’t begin to tell you how much I learnt about myself as a photographer – and as a business woman too.

So thank you. To Danelle, for sharing your knowledge and experiences. And to David and Katie, for being the best models, and the absolute definition of cool.
